CYBERYODHA: A Cybersecurity & AI Learning Program

Offered by Future Skills & Social Upliftment Foundation (FSSUF)

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website (the "Website" or "Platform") and the CyberYodha cybersecurity and artificial intelligence learning program (the "Program") operated by the Future Skills & Social Upliftment Foundation ("FSSUF", "Trust", "we", "us", or "our"), a registered trust that owns and provides the CyberYodha brand, curriculum, and program content.

The Platform is used by four categories of people, each of whom is bound by these Terms as applicable to their role:

  • Visitors - any person browsing the public areas of the Website.
  • Schools - educational institutions that register on the Platform to participate in the Program.
  • Teachers - individuals authorized by a registered School (or independently, where permitted) to deliver, monitor, or support the Program.
  • Students - learners enrolled in the Program by a registered School.

By accessing the Website, creating an account, registering a School, enrolling as a Teacher, or enrolling a Student, the person taking that action confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website or the Program.

Where a user is a minor, these Terms are agreed to on the minor's behalf and for the minor's benefit by their School and/or parent or legal guardian, as described in Section 5 below.

2. Definitions

  • "Account" means a login profile created on the Platform for a Visitor, School administrator, Teacher, or Student.
  • "Content" means all curriculum, courses, videos, assessments, exercises, tools, software, graphics, text, and other materials made available through the Platform.
  • "Program" means the CyberYodha cybersecurity and AI education program, including all associated Content, delivered through the Website.
  • "User" means any Visitor, School, Teacher, or Student who accesses or uses the Platform.
  • "User Content" means any information, submissions, assessment responses, project work, or other material a User uploads, posts, or submits through the Platform.

3. About CyberYodha and FSSUF

CyberYodha is a cybersecurity and artificial intelligence skilling and awareness program designed for school communities. All Program Content is developed, owned, and/or licensed by the Future Skills & Social Upliftment Foundation (FSSUF) Trust. The Program is delivered entirely through the Website, with Schools registering on the Platform and subsequently enrolling their Students and Teachers.

4. Terms for Website Visitors

This section applies to anyone browsing the Website, including individuals who are not yet registered as part of a School.

4.1 Permitted Use

Visitors may browse publicly available pages of the Website, including general information about the Program, for personal, non-commercial, informational purposes only.

4.2 Restrictions

Visitors must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Website's Content without prior written permission from FSSUF;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any restricted area, Account, or system on the Platform;
  • Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Website without permission;
  • Upload viruses, malicious code, or engage in any activity that disrupts or damages the Website or its infrastructure;
  • Misrepresent their identity or affiliation with any School or organization.

4.3 Accounts for Visitors

Certain features (such as expressing interest in enrolling a School, contacting the CyberYodha team, or accessing limited preview content) may require a Visitor to submit basic contact information. Submission of this information is voluntary and governed by our Privacy Policy.

4.4 No Warranty for Public Content

Publicly available information on the Website is provided "as is" for general awareness purposes and does not constitute professional cybersecurity advice.

5. Terms for Registered Schools

This section applies to any educational institution that registers on the Platform to participate in the Program ("School"). The School acts through an authorized representative (e.g., Principal, Administrator, or Program Coordinator) who is responsible for the School's use of the Platform.

5.1 School Registration

  1. The School's authorized representative must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including institutional details and contact information.
  2. The School is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of its administrative login credentials and for all activity that occurs under its School Account.
  3. FSSUF reserves the right to verify a School's credentials (such as recognition/affiliation status) before or after approving registration, and may decline or suspend registration at its discretion where information cannot be verified.

5.2 Enrollment of Students and Teachers

  1. The School is solely responsible for enrolling its Students and Teachers onto the Platform and for the accuracy of the information submitted for each enrolled individual.
  2. By enrolling a Student, the School represents and warrants that it has obtained all consents required under applicable law - including, where the Student is a minor, verifiable consent from the Student's parent(s) or legal guardian(s) - for: (a) the Student's participation in the Program, and (b) the collection, use, and processing of the Student's personal data on the Platform as described in the Privacy Policy.
  3. The School is responsible for ensuring that its Students and Teachers are informed of, and agree to comply with, these Terms as applicable to their respective roles.
  4. The School may remove or deactivate a Student's or Teacher's access at any time, for example on withdrawal, transfer, or graduation, and is responsible for promptly updating enrollment records.

5.3 School Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that devices and internet connectivity used to access the Program meet the Platform's minimum technical requirements;
  • Providing reasonable supervision of Students, particularly younger Students, while they access the Platform;
  • Designating and maintaining at least one authorized administrator responsible for the School Account;
  • Promptly notifying FSSUF of any suspected unauthorized access, data breach, or misuse involving the School's Account, Teachers, or Students;
  • Using Program Content solely for delivering the Program to its own Students and Teachers, and not for resale, sublicensing, or use by any other institution.

5.4 School Data and Reporting

The School authorizes FSSUF to generate and share Program progress, assessment, and completion data relating to its enrolled Students and Teachers with the School's authorized administrators, for the purpose of monitoring educational outcomes.

5.5 Fees

Any fees, sponsorship arrangements, or grant-funded terms applicable to a School's participation in the Program will be set out in a separate registration or partnership agreement between the School and FSSUF, and such terms will govern in addition to these Terms.

5.6 Suspension or Termination of School Access

FSSUF may suspend or terminate a School's Account for breach of these Terms, provision of false information, non-payment of applicable fees, or misuse of the Platform, generally following written notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue except in cases of serious or repeated violations, security risk, or as required by law.

6. Terms for Teachers

This section applies to individuals enrolled on the Platform as Teachers by a registered School to deliver, facilitate, or monitor the Program.

6.1 Role and Authorization

  1. A Teacher's Account is created and authorized by a registered School. The Teacher's access to Platform features is determined by the role and permissions assigned by the School and/or FSSUF.
  2. Teachers must use the Platform only for purposes connected to delivering or supporting the Program to Students enrolled by their School.

6.2 Teacher Responsibilities

  • Keeping login credentials confidential and not sharing Teacher-level access with Students or unauthorized individuals;
  • Using reasonable professional judgment when supervising Students' use of the Platform, particularly Content involving hands-on cybersecurity tools or exercises;
  • Accessing and using Student data available through the Platform (such as progress or assessment records) solely for legitimate educational purposes connected to the Program, and not for any other purpose;
  • Reporting any technical issues, suspected security incidents, or concerns about Student safety or wellbeing observed through the Platform to the School and, where appropriate, to FSSUF;
  • Complying with the School's own child-safety, data protection, and acceptable-use policies in addition to these Terms.

6.3 Teacher-Generated Content

Where the Platform allows Teachers to create supplementary materials, comments, or assessments ("Teacher Content"), the Teacher grants FSSUF a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use such Teacher Content solely for operating and improving the Program. The Teacher confirms they have the right to submit any such material and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

6.4 Restrictions

  • Teachers must not use their access to extract, copy, or redistribute Program Content outside the scope of delivering the Program to their own School's Students;
  • Teachers must not attempt to access Accounts, data, or Content belonging to other Schools;
  • Teachers must not use the Platform to collect Student data for any purpose unrelated to the Program.

6.5 Loss of Teacher Access

A Teacher's access to the Platform is tied to their affiliation with a registered School. FSSUF or the School may deactivate a Teacher's Account upon the Teacher's departure from the School, at the School's request, or for breach of these Terms.

7. Terms for Students (and Parents/Guardians)

This section applies to Students enrolled in the Program by a registered School. Because many Students are minors, this section should be read together with Section 5.2 above regarding School responsibility for parental/guardian consent.

7.1 Enrollment

Students are enrolled on the Platform by their School, which is responsible for providing accurate enrollment information and, where the Student is a minor, obtaining appropriate parental or guardian consent as described in Section 5.2.

7.2 Acceptable Use by Students

  • Students may access and use Program Content solely for their own learning within the Program;
  • Students must not share their login credentials with anyone else, or attempt to access another Student's, Teacher's, or School's Account or data;
  • Students must not use any cybersecurity tools, techniques, or knowledge gained through the Program to access, disrupt, damage, or test the security of any system, network, or account without explicit authorization to do so - Program exercises are for authorized, supervised, educational use only;
  • Students must not upload, post, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or that infringes the rights of others;
  • Students should immediately inform a Teacher or parent/guardian if they encounter content or contact through the Platform that makes them uncomfortable or appears inappropriate.

7.3 Parent/Guardian Rights

A parent or legal guardian of a Student may, through the Student's School, request access to information about their child's Program participation, request correction of inaccurate data, or withdraw their child from the Program, subject to the School's own policies and applicable law.

7.4 Student Content and Assessments

Any exercises, project work, or assessment responses submitted by a Student through the Platform ("Student Work") remain associated with the Student's educational record. FSSUF and the School may use Student Work to evaluate progress, generate certificates or reports, and improve the Program, but will not publish or share identifiable Student Work outside the School relationship without appropriate consent.

7.5 Age-Appropriate Use

The Program is designed to be delivered under the supervision of a School and its Teachers. Younger Students should use the Platform with adult supervision. FSSUF does not knowingly collect more personal data from Students than is reasonably necessary to deliver and administer the Program.

8. Accounts, Security, and Access - General Provisions

  • All Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity occurring under their Account.
  • Users must notify their School administrator or FSSUF promptly upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of their Account.
  • FSSUF reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Account that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or is used fraudulently.
  • Access to specific features of the Platform (School, Teacher, or Student dashboards) is role-based and may not be transferred between individuals.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All Program Content - including curriculum, course materials, videos, exercises, assessments, software tools, trademarks (including "CyberYodha"), logos, and design elements - is owned by, or licensed to, FSSUF and/or its content provider(s) and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to compliance with these Terms, FSSUF grants Schools, Teachers, and Students a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Program Content solely for participation in the Program. No other rights are granted. Users must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Content without FSSUF's prior written consent.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas submitted by Users regarding the Platform or Program may be used by FSSUF without obligation or compensation to the User.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

FSSUF collects and processes personal data of Visitors, Schools, Teachers, and Students as described in our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. Key principles include:

  • Personal data is collected and used only as reasonably necessary to operate, deliver, and improve the Program;
  • Special care is taken with Student data, including limiting collection to what is necessary, restricting access to authorized School, Teacher, and FSSUF personnel, and requiring parental/guardian consent as described in Section 5.2;
  • Schools and Teachers must not use Student data obtained through the Platform for any purpose outside the Program;
  • Users may contact FSSUF to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data, subject to applicable law and the School's role as the primary point of contact for Student data requests.

11. Responsible Use of Cybersecurity Skills and Tools

Because the Program includes cybersecurity education, all Users - particularly Students and Teachers - agree to use any skills, techniques, or tools learned through the Program only in authorized, lawful, and supervised settings (such as designated practice environments provided within the Platform). Using such skills to access, damage, or disrupt any system without explicit authorization is strictly prohibited and may constitute a criminal offense under applicable law. FSSUF, the School, and Teachers may take disciplinary action, including suspension from the Program, for any violation of this section.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform and Program Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FSSUF disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. FSSUF does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that completion of the Program guarantees any particular skill level, certification recognition, or employment outcome.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FSSUF, its trustees, officers, employees, and CyberYodha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to use of the Platform or Program. FSSUF's total aggregate liability arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by the relevant School to FSSUF for participation in the Program during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or matters concerning the safety of minors.

14. Indemnification

Each School agrees to indemnify and hold harmless FSSUF and CyberYodha from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) the School's breach of these Terms; (b) the School's failure to obtain required parental/guardian consents; or (c) misuse of the Platform by the School's enrolled Teachers or Students, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Changes to These Terms

FSSUF may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Program, legal requirements, or Platform functionality. Material changes will be notified through the Website or via email to registered School administrators. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Termination

Any User's access to the Platform may be suspended or terminated by FSSUF for violation of these Terms, at the request of the relevant School (for Teacher or Student Accounts), or upon a School's withdrawal from the Program. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
